We have a FAS8020 with FlexArray license and we have made the decision not to purchase anymore NetApp disks.

For those that have gone down the route what is it like to use the NetApp for file services.
We have 32x 7.68TB behind our 8200 now and making the transition to ditching spinning disk.

is it just a headache or does it work well?

Should be trivial, 3PAR is just providing storage to another host and the Netapp is a gateway ... will let you know in a few weeks as I'm doing the same.
