Alletra 5010 FC with vsphere 7 and HPE Storage Connection Manager
HI,
I have a question to ask.
I have to install an Alletra 5010, with fc connectivity, in a Vsphere 7.0 u3 cluster.
My question is:
For multipath, is it necessary to install HPE Storage Connection Manager or can I use the native vmware one?

We've not used the HPE one for Nimble servers, just native. Check the docs on infosight for what settings to use (I think the Nimble docs mentioned what to set but I've not seen the Alletra 5k docs).
They'll probably still recommend using the HPE one, apart from when they find bugs and ask you to switch back to the native ones. :roll:

Our VMware team don't like installing any 3rd party stuff so we tend to just use the native stuff and create profiles.
