tunesys errors whenever run

Can anyone please help. I am trying to do a Dry Run of a System Tune via the GUI and after 14 minutes it completed but the log is showing an error...

The last few lines of the log file read:

Error - invalid tunesys exit status "active"
Tunesys task (id 9924) has terminated
************************************
Completed scheduled task.

I have tried a system and a CPG tune and I get the same error, both times, after 145 minutes. On my other 3Par system (same model), it works without a problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can try?

Which account are you using to run tunesys.
Try using 3paradm, I've noticed that if you have LDAP and your account has super user privileges, it will fail. 3paradm however works.

Same for certain other scheduled tasks (e.g AO) last time I checked, local accounts work fine though.

Thanks, I am using a local account with full admin access. I have 4 3Par systems in total and the other three all work fine. Its just this one!

Then you start tunesys you will see you task number , from cli you can look on datail output ' showtask -d tasknumber ' and analyze.
