 Post subject: FC Disks - Missing Spec V400

I have a large amount of the following disks in my 3PAR

HVIPC0600GBFC15K - Hitachi, 600Gb 15K drives.

The internet has pretty much nothing out there about them and i'm trying to get the full spec of the disk - specifically the latency and av seek times to try and get the exact IOPS for the disks.

Can anyone help ?

Pretty sure they're going to be Ultrastar15k600 drives as Hitachi doesn't appear to have made any other 600GB 15k drives.

The iops for a 15k LFF disk can normally be assumed to be around 175.

I wouldn't use a disk iops number to size it though, you need to use a proper sizer to get iops really.
