Dear Valued Customer,

You are receiving this communication because your current 3PAR customer portal (iSupport) will be replaced with a next generation HP support portal called HP Support Center. The HP Support Center will be available to you starting September 1, 2011.

The HP Support Center portal will include the capabilities you use and value today, as well as new and enhanced features. Key features include:
• Personalized Support • Support Forums
• Support Case Submittal • Software & Driver Downloads
• "Patch" Management • Product Pages
• Guided Trouble Shooting • Top Issues
• Contract Details • Software Updates
The HP Support Center will be available at no additional cost, as this enhanced support tool is part of the HP warranty, HP Care Pack Service or contractual support agreement you have on your HP 3PAR products.

Any support cases that you have open with HP 3PAR support prior to September 1, 2011 will continue to be worked in the 3PAR iSupport portal until they are resolved. Any new cases created on that date forward will be worked exclusively in HP Support Center. Also, iSupport will remain available until December 1, 2011 for you to access any historic case information you may need.

Successful companies are learning how to anticipate and prepare for virtually any scenario. The HP Support Center, as a part of HP’s Next Generation Customer Support Experience, will provide access to HP experts and tools and help get you ready for anything, no matter how fast or furiously it comes.

Next Steps
In order to start using all the features of HP Support Center starting September 1, 2011, you will need to register for an HP Passport account. While you can create the HP Passport account at any time, in order to take advantage of the key features mentioned above, you will need to have your Service Agreement ID (SAID) linked to your HP Passport account. Your SAID will be provided to you via a letter that will describe how your 3PAR maintenance contract has been migrated to HP. This letter will be sent to you on or before August 31, 2011. (Note: If you already have an HP Passport account, go directly to Link your SAID to your HP Passport account.)
• Obtain a HP Passport account:
• Click on Register from the HP Support Center: http://www.hp.com/go/hpsc and begin creating your HP Support Center account.
• Click on the "Sign-in" link at the top of the page, and enter your HP Passport user ID and password. (Or, enter this information directly on the HP Support Center home page, under "My HP Support Center".)
• Once signed-in, review your profile to ensure all fields are accurate and up-to-date. (You may click on the "Edit your profile" link at the top of the page to access your profile.) Save any new changes you make. (See Manage your HP Passport Profile for details about your profile.)
• Once completed, you now have access to all free features and content within HP Support Center. We recommend spending a few minutes reviewing the help content for each HP Support Center feature. You will find links to the help content at the top of this page.
• Link your SAID to your HP Passport account:
• When signed-in, use 'My contracts & warranties' (in the My Support area) to link your support agreement. Please follow the link below.

Link your support agreement
• Enter the Service Agreement ID.
• Depending on your region, you may be asked to enter a Support Account Reference (SAR), which can also be found in the customer cover letter that outlines your support agreement.
• Select the ownership type (single or multiple).
• Click Submit.

If you receive an error stating the support agreement is already linked to someone else, contact that owner to get access rights. This may be the result of the type of ownership that was selected when the entitlement was first linked.
