Do the 2TB disk drives work in the S-Class system that also work in the E200 and F400?

Hi,

Formal statement of HP 3PAR Support is NO.
Drive firmware may not be compatible
Also if you use E/F Class drives in S/T Class systems, the drive might not align correctly to
the backplane. HP 3PAR uses special tools to attach the brackets to the drives.


In the real world, I have been able to use a T-Class drive in a F-Class system.
But I also have experienced that it did not work.


Advise: don't go there
