Hi,
is it possible, to get any reports based on single or several virtual volumes with System Reporter?
I need trending for allocation of some virtual volumes.
System Reporter - VV-based reports possible?
Re: System Reporter - VV-based reports possible?
Yes, you can run quick reports against individual or several VV's for space consumption etc, but dependent on the number of VV's it may be easier to do it a CPG or Physical disk level since these will provide overall system growth information, which in a Thin Provisioned environment is typically more important than individual volumes.
You can also create custom reports to provide additional information you might require, assuming this is external system reporter once you have the URL for the report you can copy and paste it back into system reporter to regenerate the latest version or add it as a scheduled report. See the user guide on the following link http://goo.gl/O5Os78
If you want to do trending then I would look at the excel client for system reporter.
