hi
on eva systems it was possible to use evaperf/cli and quickly check f.ex read/write latency on the
front-end ports. Is there something similar on 3par systems?

The IMC has crude basic reporting, but for the best reporting set up System Reporter, can give you to the PD performance and you can schedule and publish the reports. It is truly one of the hidden Gems of the 3par. You can also run ad hoc reports on any number of criteria. The 2 biggest flaws with SR is no reports on replication and no reports on AO.

Log in via ssh on the cli of the inserv node and do a statport -host -rw -ni. That should give the information you are looking for. The best thing of a 3par is that you can watch hundreds of statistics in real time, opposed to an EVA.
