Hello, I have problem on one of our 3par arrays. After power failure, I managed to bring array back online. I had to ldcheck admin LDs and so, but one LD on which are two VV is in preserved state and I can do nothing.

Here is output from CLI commands:

Code:
HP_3PAR_8400 cli% showpdata
          Ldname  Preserved raidsets  Preserved chunklets
    tp-10-sd-0.2                   1                    1

HP_3PAR_8400 cli% showld tp-10-sd-0.2
Id Name         RAID --Detailed_State-- Own     SizeMB UsedMB Use  Lgct LgId WThru MapV
88 tp-10-sd-0.2    5 preserved,checking 1/3/0/-  55296  40704 C,SD    0  ---     Y    Y
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 1                                               55296  40704

HP_3PAR_8400 cli% startvv VV_SC_6
Either vv VV_SC_6 or one of its snapchildren failed to start

Would somebody help in this situation? Only one SSD drive is in failed state. Some others are in degraded state, because of missing node2 (missing port A). Node have some hw issue, it keeps rebooting also after noderescue. So array is running with three nodes now.

Since it is in the checking state I would probably wait.

Since you are running RAID5 (which was been discouraged from before 8000 was launched) you could be hit with URE + single disk failure resulting in data loss.
