Hello
I have an alert shown in my 3par on all hosts ports
It show crc errors and ports of 3par are degraded
I run showportlesb and determine which hba in which host sending this corrupted frames
But don't know what should do next ?
What is the kind of software that send this corrupted crc ?
How it works?
How to stop it?

Thanks

Once you find the HBA, try and clean/replace fiber cable. If that doesn't help, replace SFP in host HBA and/or host.

As long as you're only seeing it on some and not all hosts, the issue is external to the 3PAR and it is most likely a physical one.

Thanks for the support
But we already replace one path from host to San sw to storage with new sfp and new fc cable but issue still exist and crc errors still alert on my storage ports

What about some kind of attack that flood a large number of corrupted frames
How this attack work ,how to stop it?
