Aloha everyone! I've lurked and used this site for answers for few years now (since we got our 8200s) and I can't seem to figure out our most recent issue. This all started fairly recently. Everything used to work fine. When we try to edit the copy group, we get "Cannot perform this operation. Source and Target system in the configuration must be connected with required user privilege and selected in the system selector." in SSMC (v.3.2.0.23766 and v3.8.0.0.330). vCenter SRM SRA is showing connected and functioning fine. As well as via the CLI. Thank you in advanced. |

You have both systems connected to the same SSMC installation, both configured with the same login credentials and ensured you've selected both systems or "all systems" in the top right corner in SSMC? One typical issue is that the original self signed certificate on the 3PAR expires after 5 years, so if the systems wasn't installed at the same time and one is more than 5 years you could have expired certificate resulting in you not being able to log on to both systems in SSMC (but that should be fairly obvious on the SSMC landing page after logging in. |
