I deployed 3par simulator clus_node_template_3.2.2.MU4, with vsp rhel_Vsp-4.4.0.GA cli% shownode Control Data Cache Node --Name--- -State-- Master InCluster -Service_LED -LED- Mem(MB) Mem(MB) Available(%) 0 1699678-0 Degraded Yes Yes Off Amber 2048 512 0 1 1699678-1 Degraded No Yes Off Amber 2048 512 0 using smartstart start to configure vsp fails with the below error No uninitialized storage system with the specified serial number found. Note : SP and storage are on the same subnet and vlan Can this be as a result of the node state showing degraded, despite storage being online and reachable. |

Interesting. Ive never tried or heard of anyone trying to connect a service processor to a 3PAR simulator. Are you sure its supported? |
