Hello there,

I got a cert expired on a 7200 3PAR, so I did renew it using instructions here (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2578)
Code:
createcert unified-server -selfsigned -CN "<CERT CN>"

I refreshed the cert on SSMC and accepted it again, ok, it works on SSMC.

But on the SP, I can't accept the new cert, no option (or I didnt found it).

How to accept new cert on the SP to restore connectivity between SP<->3PAR array ?
Remove the system and add it again ? Reboot SP ?

Thanks

Well self replying, I removed the array from SP and added it back again, worked flawlessly

Just for future reference, is that the best practice procedure ?

wish they could have a way to reconnect/reestablish/update the cert,
if someone was removing and readding it back and accidentally select initialize array

You will get an error if you try to initialize an initialized array.... and when initialize the array it will discover the array (ie, you wouldn't enter the IP).
