We just added 4 SSD's to the system but the CPG is still showing as 5% free. Is there another step needed to add those disks to the particular CPG?

Your response will be appreciated.

CPG grows when needed.

Maybe if you could add some more info we might give some insights.

showpd -c
showcpg -sdg

from cli will give some more info.

both will do, but tunesys will probably be best if you're using both cpgs.

Don't forget that a CPG is not a container, it is a template, so don't think it is like a RAID set or anything, it doesn't actually have any disks in it .. but you can tell the CPG to only allow the use of certain disks when using it as the template.

So when you pull up info on a CPG it's not showing how much storage is in the CPG, it's showing the size of the logical devices using the CPG template, as well as the size of the virtual volumes on those LDs (LDs are created as required and are shared between volumes).
