Hi I'm setting up vSphere Vvols. When I connect the storage provider to vSphere I need to supply account details for an account that has permissions on the 3Par. In the HPE implementation doc https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getpdf.a ... 907ENW.pdf They use the 3Paradm account. Does the account you use need to be the administrator, or can you use an account with the Service or Edit permissions set instead? If you did need admin permissions would yuobe better off creating a new account with that permission set specifically for this purpose? Thanks in advance Alex |

Hi Alex, Same as you, I didn't want to use the 3paradm account. We created a new user with Edit permissions and that has been working fine for us for years. Knut |
