I have a CPG dedicated to snapshots (i.e it's the Copy CPG for nearly every volume on the system). There are no base volumes on this CPG. Why would User Size be so large on this volume?

I've run compactcpg and I've also tunevv'd every volume that uses this CPG for its copy space - No change. Our other 3PAR has a similar configuration but its dedicated Copy CPG shows only a few TB of user space and 48TB of copy space; more in line with what we'd expect.

I'm wondering if the CPG in question was part of an AO in the past and someone pulled it out of the AO without draining it via warning limits.

Excellent! I found a dozen or so VVs with user space on this CPG. I think someone changed the base CPG on these but never ran tunevv to actually move the data.
