Good morning guys, I have a very simple question, how complicated because I have not found much about it on the web. I have to completely clean the disks inside the 3par that I have to sell, so I intend to do a secure erase of the data. Is it possible in your opinion through some commands inside the 3par? Because I was thinking about creating a volume and mounting it inside a vm windows to delete it. It's about the same thing that blanches with the lun secure eraser. What do you advise me to do? Have you ever had this need? Thank you |

You could just create some large thick provisioned volumes that consume all the space, then removevv them. The process of creating the volumes should zero things out. Depends on how paranoid you are. |

Depends on how paranoid you are. Yeah, you could also present those volumes to a server and use something like killdisk. If you require certificates, then you're probably looking at some commercial software. |
