Why Yes, I am a new 3PAR Admin... I see this informational warning: CPG CPG_FC_r6-12 SD and/or user space has reached allocation warning of 1.536e+04G I was going to create some new VVs using that CPG when I saw this. We have plenty of unused capacity on the system (3PAR 8200). I had thought it would automatically allocate capacity as it needed...do I need to do something... Thanks! |

Hey there. You probably just have a warning set on the CPG. Our alarms at certain percentages as well. You should be able to see the % level if you edit the CPG. It will show you whats set in there. This is through the GUI of course. Im not sure what the CLI command would be. |

Many thanks! I increased the warning level and the message is gone but... what is it actually trying to tell me? Can a CPG actually become "full" ? I had thought as long as the appropriate disk resources were available I could continue to add volumes with a CPG. Am I missing something here? |
