cli% showpd -s 31
Id CagePos Type -State-- -Detailed_State- -SedState--

Anyone have some thoughts about it?

Hi,
funny - i just sow this yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95e1HU4IRzs
in general you can try:
servicemag status -d
setpd ldalloc off <disk id number>
3PAR 7000&8000 cgcmd -tc tty -C cageX -c resetdrive X -p a|b
3PAR 9000&20000 cgcmd -tc tty -C cage1 -p a -c drivebay bay=3 set power=off cgcmd -tc tty -C cage1 -p a -c drivebay bay=3 set power=on
setpd ldalloc on <disk id number>
I find it strange the cgcmd is not documented...

for changing the disk:
https://sml-csr.ext.hpe.com/Media/F2F87 ... ve_cli.htm
and
https://sml-csr.ext.hpe.com/results.htm ... C75949A62A

That's in the section for 7000, i assume it is the same for the other models.
