Hello everybody,
I have one little question.

Do you know if the HPE M6710 Drive Enclosure serie is compatible with HPE-3PAR StoreServ 8000 serie?

The main objective for us is to keep our HPEM6710 Drive Enclosures (we got 3) when we ll switch from HPE-3PAR StoreServ 7000 to HPE-3PAR StoreServ 8000.

Thanks for your support
Regards.

Different SAS version, different connector. If you somehow find cables to do this it will never be supported.

Not supported, if your 7000 series controller is dead could always try picking up a used one. Otherwise, there's nothing preventing them from connecting to a PCIe HBA for some DAS storage for a linux/windows box.

If you change SAS controllers it will work with 8000 series.
