i am trying to format 920GB SSD as it has wrong block size, i am getting below error.

3PAR% controlpd format 520 5000CCA04F082167
Error: Only fast format allowed on this model of drive:
Opcode = SCCMD_DOCDB
Node = 253
Tpd error code = TE_INVALID -- Invalid input parameter
Tpd error info = Only fast format allowed on this model of drive

anyone knows secret command to format SSD, I have used this command in past for regular drives.

What is the model number?

Remember that on SSDs, the 3PAR does a lot of firmware magic with adaptive sparing where I think they access some of the internal spare capacity on the SSD as 3PAR also has its own spare to get more capacity and avoiding "double spare". They don't do this on spinning media, so if your drive is not genuine you might have hit a bump where something worked with spinning media but not for SSDs.
