I’m having problems with my SP and HPE cannot login with their account (hpesupport) when updating the system (but it’s sending phone home data just fine). I want to deploy a new SP from scratch (not a recovery in case whatever problem comes back in the backup file). I’m on version 5 of the SP. Is it just a simple matter of removing the 3par from the existing SP and going through a wizard on the new SP and then updating to 5.0.3.1 (from 5.0.3) when done? Can I simply power off the old SP without removing the 3par if I want to revert should something go wrong? Thanks |

No Problem. Simply Install a new SP. |

rebuilt SP but still have the same issue... hpesupport cannot login During setup the time drifted a little so time was set to manual so I reset it accordingly. Could that be causing the problem? I would normally use NTP but it seems that it ignores daylight savings time so that makes the time be off by an hour for a good portion of the year. |

That would probably be an issue as the one-time password for hpesupport changes every hour, so if your clock is off by an hour or more they are generating the password valid for the next or previous hour, not the current one. |

As a workaround try to change the Timezone so that without the Daylight Saving Time, the SP will be at the same time as yours |
