Post subject:  failed IFC repaired itself?

I got the following email about a failed card. When I did what the message said, 'showcage', everything is reporting as fine. In SSMC I show that event as resolved by system about a minute after it was triggered.

The array is an 8440 running 3.3.1 MU2. Is this anything to be worried about?

I also received this same error over the weekend, and it was also resolved by the system. My patch level is: 3.3.1.410 (MU2)+P30,P32

Most likely, you will need to replace the cage. Sorry for late reply. You might have resolved it by now?

I wouldn't say card in the cage, not the entire cage. However it may even be something less intrusive like patch with new firmware for the cards.
