Used createsv command to create a PiT copy of a exported VV. We then use the snap in the promotesv -online to push the PiT copy to overwrite the exported VV. This works perfectly, however creates a vvprom*.backup vvs for each promote operation. These vvprom* vvs are utilising a large amount of usable space on the 3par and just wanted to confirm they can be cleared down without detriment to future promotesv commands. |
