I'm 99.9% sure the answer is probably "no" but thought it worth checking to see if anyone had any direct experience: Does anyone know if data moved or copied between volume groups on seperate but federated arrays still benefits from ODX?

I strongly suspect it doesn't but I don't have any federated arrays to check and obviously the arrays communicate enough to act as 'one' but I'm guessing the VGs need to be hanging off a local backplane as it's a low-level processing function?

The answer is no. ODX is only internal to one array. On which ports would you expect this traffic to go? (Okay, I see that you might want to say peer ports, but no it doesn't)
