I got the Thin provisioning license after VV's were created.
Can I convert the volumes from Full to Thin?

also, what does the Compact CPG feature do?

thanks,
Igal

You can convert thick to thin and the other way around. This can be done without any downtime on the volume exported to the host.

Compact CPG is used to reclaim space from a CPG.

If you have a volume inside a CPG thick or thin and you delete the volume then you can run Compact CPG to reclaim space from that CPG , it can also be used with zero detect and tppv to reclaim free space from volumes.

Hello

Seems like you have to have 3.1.2 in order to do so , its not any earliere releases so that might be why your not seeing it.

It can be done using the tunevv command or from GUI if your running IMC 4.3.

Best Regards Christian
