I did my upgrade to 3.3.1 and now I need to start migrating everything to the new dedupe format. Is there any way to determine if a VV is TDVV2 or TDVV3?

I don't see anything in the GUI and a showvv just says everything is tdvv

TDVV version is on the CPG level, not VV level. If I recall correctly you will see this under "DDSType" in "showcpg -d". All VVs within a CPG has the same TDVV version.

Thanks for the hint. I see a shared version column which has a -, 2 or 3 depending on what's in my CPG which tells me the TDVV version. Also found it in SSMC now that I know where to loook (CPG screen and not volume screen!)

Just to add to this, from 3PAR OS 3.3.1, the showcpg -d output column header is no longer "DDSType", it is now "Shared Version" which shows the version of all TDVVs in a particular CPG.
