Hi, I have a VV that is thinly deduped. On IM cand SSMC, it shows almsot 10TB reserved out of 5TB virtual size but on vmware side, my vmware team provisioned only 2.8TB out of 5TB. Why is 3PAR showing like that? Thank you |

What version of code you running on the 3PAR ? We had the same issue with early 3.2.2 code on an 8400 , 300GiB de-duped volumes taking 16TiB of space on the array. Was a code issue according to support .. we very shortly after stopped using de-dupe because it caused an array crash .. still waiting for HPE to proclaim a code level safe enough for us to go to and allow us re-enable de-dupe. |
