Hey Guys

I am looking for a coupe of reports from 3PAR which may or may not exist

1 - We had a spike in latency a couple of weeks ago, I would like to track down which volumes in particular were most affected. In the old system reporter you could do a point in time report and find put which volumes had the highest latency at a given time. Is there any way to do that now with SSMC or otherwise that show top 10 volumes latency? (not real time)

2 There has been a sudden increase in capacity used on the 3PAR. Again I would like to track this back to particular volumes, is there a way to see the fastest growing volumes in the past month?

Thanks

Hi,

1) create a report with the template "Exported Volumes - Compare by performance statistics", view the time span the peak was in, klick on the peak. A "top ten"- windows will open, you can choose to see the top ten vvs, hosts or whatever, and if you care about iops, kbps, servicetimes or whatever.

2) create a report "Virtual Volumes - Capacity" and make sure to set "compare by" to enabled (not "compare with system"!). Check the "Raw reserved"-box.

Hope that's what you are looking for!

Remember that highres data isn't available forever. "showsr" will display the earliest date you have with highres data.
