I have a RAID 5 CPG but when I create a TPVV it's RAID 1. If I create a Full provisioned VV then it's RAID 5. Can someone shed some light on this?

Got some screenshots or text that can help diagnose?

Are you using AO? because that would explain this.

Quite frankly I don't understand one bit of the screenshots.
A copyspace with a setsize of 2, but it reports back raid 5?
The adminspace has a setsize of 3, but reports back as raid 1?
huh?

Could you click edit on the CPG, tick advanced settings, and make a screenshot of that?

raid5, setsize of 4 for the userspace.
if you create a new thinvv from this cpg, and also point the copyspace to this cpg, it must have a setsize of 4 and be raid 5 in any view imho.

will check my config tomorrow, see if it has the same abnormalities.
