I have a 8440 with 6 920GB SSDs and 16 FC 1.8TB disks. Its been configured with AO as tier 0 and tier1. The AO mode is balance and no growth limit configured.

There are 2 virtual volumes of 6TB each created from tier1. Both are FPVV.

I receive warning that my SSD raw capacity is over 85%. How can I move the data to the lower tier?

Hello Shang,

Are you sure you want to move data out of your SSD Tier? You probably want as much data in the SSD as possible, if your SSD raw capacity is 99.9% full then you are getting the most value from it.

You can review the alarm thresholds with:
showsys -param

You can edit them with setsys.
