I'm currently in the processing of re-striping a vv on the 7k (48x3TB) tier of a 7400. The tier in general is receiving around 300-500 IOPS of sequential writes from the few vv's on the system.

Code:
tunevv usr_cpg AO_ESX_CAP_NL_R6_S14 -src_cpg AO_ESX_Perf_NL_R6_S8 Veeam-1

The process is moving along at around 500GB/hr, does this seem slow to you? If so, any ideas on how to speed it up?

The system will prioritize host traffic over tunevv traffic. You could run it with a higher priority, but not recommended. (tunevv -pri)

If you wanted to, you could drill down with srstats and watch back end SAS port and PD utilization to look for bottlenecks. My guess is that you are reading and writing to/from the same NL drives, so theres a performance tax for that, unlike when you tune from NL to FC, since you have separates pools you are reading and writing to.
