I am looking for this for taking SAN based backup for 3 VV's on daily basis. We have T400 running with 2.3.1 inform OS .Also is there any way I can do this task from the IMC 4.1 cosole?

This script here could be used as a template to do what you need.

In your backup job, you probably have the ability for a pre and post execution script (most backup apps have this). I think it would be ideal to have the pre-script take and mount the snaps, then use the post-script to unmount and delete the snap.
