Our 3PAR systems came with built in ethernet ports for remote copy use, however don't plan to use them so we never cabled them up. This caused our IMC gui to put little yellow exclamation points on our devices indicating trouble. This is how you can make those go away:

The problem:

The fix, just configure some bogus IP settings for the unused FCIP ports:

Concerning yellow punctuation is gone:

Just don't configure a bogus gw - it will render your Inserve unreachable

For RCIP ports that are not in use... who cares if those are unreachable?

RCIP uses different ports than management.

Thanks for that!
I thought I was going to have to live with those annoying little exclamation marks, I feel like a massive weight has been lifted

This problems is also solved by updating the 3PAR InForm Management Console to version 4.2.
