HI all
When we upgrade 3par, we must clone many cdrom. How can we just use iso file or remote connection portal to upgrade.

I check the sp menu. When we upgrade and choose up 1 ==> Update SP Software Revision.
there is comment select 0 to enter an unlisted (local or network) location or to quit.

Who knows how to use network way to upgrade OS?

We just went through a full upgrade from 2.3.1 to 3.1.2 with remote support. Two steps - 2.3.1 -> 3.1.1, then 3.1.1 to 3.1.2.

Yeah, they had us download 1/2 dozen images - but they were all put on a windows management station we have, and the remote support tech uploaded those to the SP. No CD's were required to be burned.

Not sure why your doing it yourself, but you should be able to upload them to the SP through the SPOCC when your doing the maintenance.

Yeah the remote support system has been flakey the past few months... on several occasions support has called me asking for virtual room instead of using "Axeda"? to connect. I am glad to hear for planned upgrades they are routing some of that traffic outside of that.
