Post subject:  VMware cluster hosts not seeing storage after reboot

Hello,

We have an issue that comes up form time to time when we reboot a vmware host it will not see a LUN that it is in the cluster.

Not all the time mind you but sometimes it just goes away. The other hosts have no issues seeing it.

Pathing etc.. on the array is fine.

It also seems to "fix" itself after a night.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this

The only time we saw something like that was a networking-related issue with some 5406zl2's buggy distributed trunking implementation (corrupted cam tables).

May be the ATS Bug:
ESXi host loses connectivity to a VMFS3 and VMFS5 datastore (2113956)
