Hello comunity

I called checkhealth -svc -detail command in order to do some pre upgrade checks, and I got this error:

Network Node1:Admin Errors recently detected on network

Is this going to be a problem to perform upgrade? What is the reason for this, and how it can be fixed?

Current OS version is 3.2.2 MU3 , patches 52,55

Thanks,

It could be many things, ranging from failed hardware in your network switch via incorrect configuration to poor patch cables, bad/incorrect grounding, failed network adapter on the node(s) or incorrect configuration on the 3PAR.

Depending on which it may or most likely not become an issue during upgrades. I would check the error counter (shownet -d (?)) to see if it's affecting all nodes equally. From the looks of your output it's only node1. I would either way start with replacing patch cables as those are cheap and ineffective to diagnose/troubleshoot.

Thanks for the reply, all nodes and ports look ok except Node1 port0, where there is one error. shownet -d output:

I would replace network cable and possibly try another port on the management switch. Seems to very much be a single issue.
