You have only one Cage.
So DP-1 Port on the Controller is free.
- add License
- set Maintenance Mode on the SP (this is for HPE Only)
- Power on the Shelf (Drives inserted)
- Connect SAS Cable as in the Manual
(One Cable is longer as the other, you need this for next expansion)
- admithw

So you have a Short Red Cable that going from Node 0 Top to Down.
And a Long Green Cable going from Node 1 Down to Up.
Prepare as I describe.
Label the two new short Cables as in the Manual.
Follow the Manual.
Figure 24 Reviewing Controller Node 0 Cable Connections
Add the new Shelf in the Data Path by connecting a new short Red Cable that goes from E1 DP-2 to E3 DP1.
Wait for Discovery.
Check twice. Dont put in the unlabeld Port!
Use: checkhealth cabling
Now you disrupting one Path, this needs that the Red Path is fine.
Now: Figure 29 Reviewing Controller Node 1 Cable Connections
Move the Long Green Cable from E1 DP-1 to E3 D-1.
Add a short Green Cable from E3 DP-2 to E1 DP-1.
Use: checkhealth cabling
You can also use the command "servicecage guidecabling" for assistance.
