Dear, I have encountered many difficulties in Configuring the File Persona, because we are using the HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8000 4-port 10Gb iSCSI/10Gb NIC Combo Adapter (PN: N9Z19A), and simply the cards are not available or visible by File Persona, after long time of searches I found an HP note that said that the boards only work with version 3.3.1 of the 3 PAR 8000 Storage. at this time I have version 3.2.2 and would like to know is it safe to do the update from version 3.2.2 to 3.3.1? What is the best way to proceed with Update? not having VSP for Network security reasons and our policies do not allow an extension that allows remote access. is there a way around this? |

As mentioned, you will need to install a service processor to perform upgrades. Your HPe support should be able to help you with this. The upgrade from 3.2 to 3.3.1 and the patches that go with it should be done with the assistance of support. If you don't have a support contract, then you may not be entitled to use the upgrade. |

Had the Same issue. If you told the Support why you need the Update they Prio it. After the Update it Works as expected. |
