HI,
we migrate from 3PAR 7200 to 3PAR 8450 using peer motion, and we would like to replay the process from a volume that have been already migrate by peer motion (all the thing have been deleted to the cible storage bay).
But we have an error message when startion peer motion to this volume:
- Peer motion workflow for a volume xxxx is in progress or is already completed.

Is it possible to redo the peer motion process from an already migrate volume ?
Is there a flag to modify (thru cli command) ?

Our HPe technical contacts are unable to answer us

If it is completed you should be able to delete the workflow and delete the destination volume and start over.

Thanks for your answer.
I was able to delete the destination volume and Under the SSMC i removed the workflow :
- Federation => Peer motions,

In the list I deleted the workflow of the desired volume but still have the error.

i keep searching

in fact i open a call at 3PAR Support but no answer for the moment.

In the HPe 3PAR Peer Motion and HPe 3PAR Online Import User Guide, page 63 i found the note below :
- The Delete action only removes the peer motion record from the SSMC. It does not delete the Peer motion operation or undo any of the operations that were carried out as part of the migration process.

So i will wait the 3PAR support answer.
