Hey,

There is any way to update physical service processor OS without physical CR-ROM and media?

On SPOCC i see the following text:

Please enter the full path name of the SP software update location.
If on remote machine enter hostname/IPaddress:directory

I have ISO file with SP OS.

So, I tried to use ftp (ftp://user:pass@ip or just ftp://user@ip) also tried SMB (ip:folder) - but all attempts didn't give me any results. Also I tried to put unpacked files in the directory - still nothing.

Any ideas?

We usually used WinCSP to push files to /tmp folder.

which account you use for this operation(spvar?) and which path you using IN SPOCC web? (/tmp?)?

I have only spvar password. Could I have spdood password somehow (OS version is 3.1.1 MU1)

Are you a final customer ? Then you better give a call to HP or your storage provider.

Yes, I'm final custmer. Our support is over, so I'm not sure that I'm able to get this information from supplier or HP.

Hi,

You can directly contact HP for the patch upgrade in SP.

They can do it remotely or using VR session.
