We are investigating a major issue were LUNs are going RO.
HP has recommended to apply P10.
Looking at the release notes I did find an interesting note:
"Remote mirror locking might remain indefinitely."
P10 obsoletes P07 and P09, and has a similar or the same issue with a different text:
"The thread handling remote requests hold the CPU and prevent access to other threads. When
certain CPU locks are held, a series of delayed I/O requests might cause system outage. This is
resolved"
I have requested more info from HP, but are anyone aware of this problem,
or have been requested to apply this patch from HP?
