Hello guys
I have a system with 12 cages on node pair 0/1 and 6 cages on node pair 2/3.
I want to create a NL CPG which better takes the most of this array.... I have been thinking to create a NL CPG using ss 128KiB and ssz of 6 (4+2)

Any ideas?

Thanks
David

Best ideas would be to have 9 cages on each node pair.

You should be able to go for either 4+2 (6) or 10+2 (12) and maintain cage on the config, anything in between should also work but you'll waste a few chunklets on the other setups.

Thanks guys....
I think the best step size will be 128KiB for this ssz config 4+2.... what do you think?

Leave it at the default which should be 64K I believe, the only time You would look to adjust it is for comparative performance testing, it has a default for a reason. If you mess with the step size without understanding what you're doing it'll most likely get you into trouble later down the line.

Just because something's possible doesn't mean it's necessarily a good idea :-)
