 Post subject: 3par ports troubleshooting

Port 0:1:2 has failover state failover_pending
port persistence are still active

The above issues is notified while doing checkupgrade and on troubleshooting it noticed that the
1)checked with showport and noticed that the port type is free and failover state as failover pending
2) failback of these ports never worked.
3)reset of ports also never worked.

what may be the reason of the above 2 troubleshooting never worked, please suggest it.

Try rebooting node to clear state.

rebooting worked that too manual reboot, y is this like that?
